However, did you know that there is a fashion week in Brazil exclusively for sustainable brands called Brasil Eco Fashion Week? Sustainability is one of the most current and commented subjects of the moment, which goes far beyond caring for the environment, it also deals with our lifestyle and our choices and actions as consumers.

Brasil Eco Fashion Week Brasil Eco Fashion Week is an annual event that aims to promote good sustainability practices in the Brazilian fashion industry. In addition to parades, the event features sales markets, exhibitions and entrepreneurial activities.
Just like traditional fashion weeks, Brasil Eco Fashion Week is also considered a fashion week, and includes 120 employees, in addition to dozens of companies that are involved in several important parts for its realization, ranging from sponsorship to conception and support. The event is held in the city of São Paulo, and receives in all editions not only industry professionals, but also entrepreneurs, students and consumers from all regions of the country.
What sets it apart from other industry events is that, in addition to being free, it is open to the general public.
BEFW, in its 4 years of life, has already become a huge national meeting of sustainable fashion in Brazil. In addition to presenting collections of clothing, lectures and content that cover various topics within the theme of sustainability, such as organic crops, conscious consumption, biodesign and many others, also take place.
However, just like countless other events from different industries, this year’s edition of BEFW will be made different from its original and traditional format. Happening between the 18th and the 22nd of November, in 2021 it will be digitally instead of in person due to the pandemic.
The theme of the fourth edition will be “Connect to Regenerate: nishat linen online Fashion and the Planet” and will have a vast program with webinars, online activities in order to offer as much interactivity as possible with lectures, workshops, parades of sustainable brands, actions for internationalization of brands, among several others that were already part of the face-to-face editions, but this time, will take place in the digital environment.
